Welcome to Tomac Woods Golf Course! We hope your tour of our property will be an enjoyable one and that we will actually see you on the course in the near future.
Tomac Woods has been owned by the same family since construction started in 1963. Our history is a positive one and we invite you to learn more about our 45 years in business.
Our goal is to make your golf experience at Tomac Woods an enjoyable one--from the time you walk in the pro shop, to your game on the course, to a beverage and a bite to eat after golf. We like to hear your comments and suggestions at any time, as we strive to improve every day.
The Tomac Woods team specializes in OUTINGS for church groups, companies, charities, families and groups of friends.
In addition, we schedule events for seniors, couples and family members during the season. JOIN US!
On Sunday, August 28, Tomac Woods will host a Rally for the Cure in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The mission of Rally for the Cure is dedicated to spreading awareness in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. As part of this important fundraiser, we are again this year encouraging our golfers, friends and family to donate $10 to honor one or more individuals who have survived or been lost to breast cancer. Matt VanDerMeulen, a recent graduate of the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, is offering golf lessons at Tomac Woods. He also has a Masters in Psychology and looks forward to sharing his thoughts on the mental aspect of golf with those looking to improve their game. Lessons will cover full swing analysis and short game assistance. Instruction will include basic fundamentals, posture, balance, swing plane and alignment. Rates: $25--1/2 hour $40--1 hour $100--3 1-hour lessons $130--5 1-hour lessons $60--9 hole playing lesson
